Beate Althammer (Humboldt University/re:work Berlin) is a cooperation-partner of my current research project. In this workshop Beate Althammer will present her research project „The Borders of the Welfare State: Migration, Social Rights and Expulsion (1850-1933)“. The discussion will also be based on her paper „Von Pfahlbürgern und Zugvögeln: Kontroversen um das deutsche Heimatrecht im 19. Jahrhundert“ (Germanic Review 96/2021/3, 235-255, https://doi.org/10.1080/00168890.2021.1943297). The workshop will take place on Monday, 27.9.2021, 10:00-12:00 at the University of Vienna.
